Gavin provides specialist cardio-respiratory referral services (assessing heart and lung conditions) through Brighton Veterinary Referrals.

Gavin is an RCVS Recognised Specialist in Veterinary Cardiology - the highest level of qualification possible.

Gavins specific interests include pulmonary hypertension and respiratory disease.

Michelle Zoja

MRCVS - Diagnostic imaging

Michelle provides CT and ultrasound referrals.

Michelle has worked in a variety of referral centres, both in the UK and abroad. Michelle has a strong interest in cytology and internal medicine which complements her extensive imaging experience and allows her to offer practical and pragmatic advice regarding case management.

Michelle is happy to discuss the best way forward when referring challenging imaging cases.

Vicky has a passion for minimally invasive surgery with laparoscopy (keyhole surgery) and gastrointestinal endoscopy.

Vicky holds the European School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies GP certificate in Endoscopy and Endosurgery and accepts referrals for laparoscopic surgery.

Nicky has a particular interest in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, and accepts referrals for laparoscopic spays.

Dr Andrew Denning

BVetMed CertVR DVDI MRCVS - Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging

Andrew Denning is a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist. If a specialist-level ultrasound is required, Andrew can perform these for our patients on a Tuesday or Thursday. Where required, he can carry out ultrasound-guided procedures such as fine-needle aspirates, tru-cut biopsies, centesis or ultrasound-guided drainage.

Dr Karen Casswell

BVSc BSc CertVOphthal MRCVS - Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Ophthalmology

Karen is an advanced practitioner in ophthalmology (eye problem). Eye disease can be painful and difficult to manage long term, and can deteriorate rapidly potentially leading to loss of vision. Karen is able to assess eye problems, perform diagnostic tests and implement a medical and/or surgical treatment plan as required.

BVetMed CertVD CertAVP(VD) MRCVS - Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Dermatology

Dermatology (skin disease) can be really challenging to manage. Recurrent skin irritation is upsetting for pets and frustrating for owners and veterinary surgeons alike. Recurrent problems often warrant more detailed investigation. Skin disease includes ear, claw and anal sac disease.
